Paul McCartney to hold surprise pre Glastonbury show at tiny venue in Frome
Paul McCartney has announced a surprise show in a small Somerset entertainment venue on the night prior to the band's Glastonbury headlining show.
A former band member aged 80 the band The Beatles' performance was announced on Thursday (23 June) The show was sold out, with "first comes first served" tickets selling out in just an hour.
The Cheese and Grain venue for entertainment located in Frome, Somerset will play the host for McCartney starting at 5pm on Thursday (24 June). The capacity of the venue is 800 people.
Their website they stated: "In 24 hours time from today Paul McCartney will be performing live, right here in Frome from The Cheese and Grain.
"What an amazing chance to see Paul prepare for his Glastonbury headline show on the weekend."
It also said: "What an amazing treat... We're informed that this isn't his usual set, so it is likely to be a day full of exciting surprises."
